A GUIDE TO THE SOLA SYSTEM

SOLA stands for Secure Online Learning Administration. The system allows organisations to set up and manage online training for hundreds or thousands of employees.

How does it work?

Organisations using SOLA are provided with a secure PIN and password to access the system. They can then log in online in order to:

• Set up training accounts for individual learners
• View full lists of active and completed students
• Monitor student progress and completion rates
• Produce reports
• Print off course certificates
• Purchase extra course places

What are the Benefits?

• Students can access their training programme wherever they have internet access.
• We ensure that the courses are accessible even where people do not have broadband access.

• Students can work wherever and whenever is convenient and at a pace that suits them. They might arrange a number of sessions in an IT suite, study at home, or simply work at their desk whenever they have the opportunity.

Accountability

• Managers responsible for training can see at a glance who has been enrolled in which courses, and whether they have completed.
• Courses include online assessment, so as well as knowing that people have received training, you also know that they have understood the key issues.
