• What is resilience and how does it link to successful transitions?
• The ecology of human development and the building of resilience
• Assessing resilience in the context of human ecology

Session two: Assessing resilience and making plans

• Working with the child or young person to assess resilience
• Mapping resilience against all ecological levels: a practice tool
• Using resilience maps to work with the child or young person in planning for the transition to adult life
• Working with the support network
