- To recognise the impact of trauma on child development and learning
- To understand why it can be difficult for traumatised children to manage school and schools to manage traumatised children
- To recognise the impact of secondary traumatic stress
- To think about strategies for supporting the education of traumatised children by preventing and treating secondary stress
