The work of supporting the most vulnerable children in society is a shared task, involving workers from a range of public, private and charitable agencies. To promote best practice, Akamas offers training resources that develop the knowledge and skills of individuals while encouraging multi-agency working.
In addition to training resources for the whole workforce, we offer specialist vocational qualifications at Levels 3 and 4 that may be suitable for:
- Children's Centre staff
- Connexions workers
- Specialist nurses
- Independent social workers
Our qualifications are accredited in the UK, but our courses cover topics that have universal relevance. In particular, much of our short course programme is suitable for child care organisations worldwide.
